Bon Secours is interviewing experienced Nurse Practitioners now for a full time primary care practice opportunity on the Southside of Richmond - Primary Care practice experience of 4 to 5 years is required.
  • Experience requirements are set by our provider and leader teams based on practice volume and acuity of patients, as well as bandwidth of supporting Physicians. This position is not open to new grads of NP/PA training.
  • Seeking a seasoned primary care provider who is experienced managing their own patient panel, and can begin work and provide access to patient care right away
  • South Chesterfield Family Medicine - 3 days per week 8:30-5:00
  • Southside Internal Medicine - 2 days per week 8:00-4:00
  • Position is full time - 40 hours - 36 patient contact/4 hours admin - M-F
  • 100% outpatient - no hospital responsibility
  • Call schedule: 1 week of shared call every 6 to 8 weeks, telephone only, some Rx refills, low volume
  • Average clinic patients per day: 20
  • EPIC EMR
  • E-visits, telehealth via MyChart and Doxy.me
  • All patients will be age 18+
  • No walk-ins - absorbing panel and sick visits
  • POC labs done in office
  • Must be proficient managing multiple chronic conditions, high acuity patients, high volume practice
  • In-office procedures: joint injections, women's health, basic derm, I&D
  • We're looking for a really good team member with a positive attitude and focus on quality patient care and outcomes. We support each other here, often switching call days to help when needed, or pitching in during FMLA or same-day call out.
  • Good business skills - close encounters same day - return patient calls and emails - good communication and maturity
  • This is a friendly and welcoming environment, everyone is approachable, patients are appreciative and kind. Practices are in well-lit, safe business/residential areas with amenities nearby.
  • 1 MD in Family Practice, 3 MD in Internal Medicine practice
  • In-office support through CMA and LPN
