As a Palliative Care Physician, you will provide comprehensive care in both the inpatient setting and our specialized palliative care follow-up clinic. Your role will be pivotal in guiding patients through their illness journey and ensuring continuity of care. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the education of medical students, residents, and NP/PA students, shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a full range of palliative care services, including initial patient consultations, development of individualized care plans, and follow-up visits in the palliative care clinic.
  • Collaborate closely with referring providers and contribute to the advancement of the care team.
  • Recommend appropriate referrals to other healthcare providers, ensuring alignment with applicable policies and regulations.
  • Facilitate patient access to necessary medical care and services.
  • Engage in the education of residents, APCs, and students, fostering their development through hands-on teaching and mentorship.


Practice Support:

You will benefit from robust practice support, including a dedicated team of CMA/LPNs, administrative and management staff, APPs, clinic nurses, and office personnel within the palliative care clinic. This collaborative environment ensures you have the resources and support necessary to provide exceptional care.
