Outpatient Neurology Opportunity - Alzheimer's & Dementia Focus | Mercy Health

Mercy Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collaborative Neurology team in an outpatient setting. This is a unique opportunity to help grow and shape an Alzheimer's and Dementia-focused practice while also supporting general neurology care as needed.

You'll be part of a dynamic and supportive team, making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and families navigating cognitive disorders.

Position Highlights

  • Full-time, outpatient role with a Monday-Friday schedule
  • Collaborate with a team of 9 Neurologists and 1-2 advanced practice clinicians
  • Primary focus on Alzheimer's and Dementia care, with some general neurology patients
  • Utilize Epic EMR for efficient documentation and care coordination
  • Opportunity to mentor and educate Neurology residents within a competitive residency program
  • Join a growing Neuroscience service line that includes Neurosurgery, Endovascular/Stroke, and Neurocritical Care

Qualifications

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Ability to obtain Ohio licensure and DEA certification with full prescriptive authority
  • Prior experience in neurology or cognitive disorders preferred, but not required
