Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Bon Secours Lively Medical Center is looking for a dynamic Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join their team. With the ability absorb the practice panel call is also shared by 4 practices in the Northern Neck. All providers share equally and averaging to 7 weeks per year for the pediatric providers. This NP will be expected to work side by side with providers and clinical staff as a team. If your passion is pediatrics, then this is the job for you!

Insurance and payment information

We accept most insurance plans, including Medicare. Many plans require that you make a co-payment at the time of your visit. For self-pay patients, payment is expected in full at the time of service. To make payment as easy as possible for you, we accept cash, checks, VISA and MasterCard. Patients may contact the practice manager to discuss options for financial assistance. Emergencies

For emergencies, our physicians are available to you 24 hours a day. You can reach our on-call physician services after hours by calling 804-435-8000. If at any time you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

Referrals

We request 72 hours notice for processing physician referrals, except in the case of an emergency.

Prescription refills

For your convenience, refill requests for medications other than controlled drugs may be requested through your pharmacy, and your pharmacy will submit the request to us. Medication refill requests should be made during normal business hours. We request 48 hours to provide refill requests. We are not able to process medication requests after hours.

Please remember that in certain situations, appropriate medical care requires a patient examination before a prescription can be filled.

Medical records

Your records are confidential and will not be released without a signed consent from you.

MyChart offers Bon Secours patients free, personalized online access to portions of their medical records. It enables you to securely use the Internet to manage and receive information about your health - online, any time.
