The Bon Secours Richmond Continuum of Care Service Line serves the seriously ill population and includes Hospice, Home Health, Palliative, Primary Care at Home and Senior Care Services. We're adding 3 Physicians to our Senior Care Services team to provide primary care to residents of outside SNF/LTC/ALF facilities we have contracts with around Richmond.
  • Hours are M-F 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Physician will be primarily dedicated to 2 or 3 facilities, but possibly float as needed, at the following locations: Hanover, Autumn Care, Shalom Gardens, Westport, Parham, Glenburnie - (subject to change.)
  • Rounding on 15-20 patients per day providing primary care
  • After-hours call is divided among providers in group (3 MD, 4 NP) and is typically 4 days per month and 1 weekend every other month. 5 PM - 7 AM. Holiday call is rotated on a set schedule and covers the whole day.
  • 100% adult/geriatric
  • No hospital requirement
  • No Procedures
  • Rounding on patients, charting in EPIC EMR, review Rx requests, request and result labs, attend facility meetings, meet with families as needed, provide educational support to LTC staff and collaborate with SCS NP's as needed
  • Open to Family or Internal Medicine Trained Physician
  • Geriatric Fellowship is preferred but not required
  • Open to newly graduated physician who is Board Eligible or experienced physician Board Certified
  • Must have completed a U.S.-based Family or Internal Medicine to be eligible
  • Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S.
  • Bon Secours is a not-for-profit organization and eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness

Bon Secours Offers a competitive base compensation and the opportunity to earn bonus based on attainment of quality goals and collaboration with APC's. 35 days of ATO annually is front-loaded, not accrued. Medical/dental/vision/Rx/FSA benefits begin on first of month following date of hire. Company provided life insurance 2x Base, short/long term disability, malpractice/liability/tail coverage, additional parental time off, 403b retirement savings plus matching %, Supplemental Executive Retirement Program which is company-funded. $25,000 Starting Bonus.
