OB/GYN Opportunity:

Mercy Heath Physicians Youngstown is seeking an OB/GYNto join our growing Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as part of Women's Services at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.

You will partner with a team of other community OB/GYN providers and Advanced Practice Providers to guide development of standards for intrapartum care as well as to educate, supervise and provide direct care for patients served by Women's Services. Candidates will have dedicated time to participate in collaborative roles relative to interests in practice, research and education.

As one of the largest providers of Level II obstetrical services in the area and one of the largest provider of obstetrics in Mahoning Valley, St. Joseph Warren Hospital welcomes more than 1200 babies each year. St. Joseph's OB department works collaboratively with St. Elizabeth Boardman hospital, the area's largest and sole provider of OB care welcome over 3400 babies each year. St. Joseph's OB department works with Akron Children's hospital who provides in house coverage for deliveries and operates the Special Care Nursery. This position will be in our Trumbull County market to provide OB GYN services in a practice as well as inpatient deliveries and surgical services.

Call coverage is required to meet the needs of those patients who are unassigned. Available consultation resources include a full service MFM and level III NICU. The Special Care Nursery is in house and operated by Akron Children's Hospital.

Requirements:
• Board certified/eligible at time of employment
• Licensed in the state of OH by the time of employment
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
• Current BLS and NRP for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Only cover one hospital. Highly completive salary, sign on bonus, medical education loan repayment, relocation and benefit package.
