Bon Secours Western Branch Primary Care is adding a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to the team.
Strong Preference for a Seasoned and Experienced Primary Care Provider with 3+ years of practice experience in the same continuity clinic managing a full patient panel. The Practice will review all applicants. They are firm on having RN experience and an emphasis on Primary Care training rotations during MSN-NP or PA training.

Western Branch Primary Care is located on Taylor Road in the heart of the Western Branch area of Chesapeake. Our large, modern practice is 1 mile off the exit from I-664 and near the MMMBT. Surrounded by schools, churches, dining, entertainment and residential neighborhoods - this busy practice is firmly established in the community we serve. Close to Portsmouth, Suffolk, Harbour View.

Western Branch Primary Care provides comprehensive care for children and adults. Our health care services for children include school and sports physicals, well-child visits and immunizations. For adults, we offer annual and pre-surgical physicals, as well as management of ongoing medical conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol. In addition, we offer wellness screenings and routine diagnostic testing including blood work, urinalysis and EKGs.

- 2026 Start Date - 120 days after receiving signed offer
- NP/PA must be Board Certified and Licensed in Virginia, certified to care for patients of ALL AGES.
- The practice sees patients age 5 and older.
- Currently 3 MD's and 3 NP's - each with 1:1 CMA support
- Full Time Position open due to practice Growth - 100% outpatient
- Practice schedule Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Shared Call Group - approx. 1:15 - about 1 week day or 1 weekend per month - no hospital requirement - phone only
- Point of Care Testing - Phlebotomist on site - PharmD in practice 2x per week
- Lab- EKG in practice
- EPIC EMR - MyChart for virtual health.
- Telehealth - E-visits available through MyChart
- Average 18 - 24 patients per day
- Lab, EKG, Radiology in the same building
