**GYN Oncologist Opportunity at Bon Secours Mercy Health**

Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled GYN Oncologist to join our esteemed oncology team at St. Vincent Medical Center. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care in both gynecologic oncology and benign complex surgery. Our patient base spans across all age groups, from teens to geriatric patients. The physician will be responsible for managing an existing practice panel, accommodating new referrals, and performing a variety of procedures in the field of GYN oncology and complex benign surgeries.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial patient consultations, both inpatient and office settings
  • Perform GYN and oncology surgeries, providing pre/post-surgery oversight
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including gynecologists, oncologists, urologists, general surgeons, and primary care physicians
  • Facilitate patient access to medical care through appropriate referrals
  • Ensure the provision of professional services aligning with the hospital's capabilities
  • Participate in a weekend call rotation
  • Contribute to the teaching programs for OB/Gyn and general surgery residency programs
  • Foster collaborative relationships with referring providers and contribute to the further development of the service line

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, with weekend call on a rotation


Requirements:
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in GYN Oncology
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Ohio
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Interest in teaching and mentoring residents
