Location: Mercy Health, Toledo, OH
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5-8 hours per day

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Endocrinologist to join our growing outpatient clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly established program, with the potential to see 20-25 patients per day by year two. The position offers a collaborative and supportive environment, working alongside a team of healthcare providers, including Primary Care Providers (PCPs), specialists, and a dedicated clinic staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a full range of professional Endocrinology services, including patient consultations, development of personalized care plans, and follow-up visits.
  • Interpret lab and radiology results, ensuring accurate and timely diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians to ensure comprehensive care for patients, including the facilitation of referrals when necessary.
  • Work in conjunction with clinic medical assistants, office staff, and management to ensure smooth clinic operations and optimal patient care.
  • Participate in the ongoing development of care team policies, procedures, and clinical best practices.
  • Remain communicative and collaborative with referring providers to enhance patient care and program growth.
  • Foster the growth of the endocrinology program by providing exceptional care and expanding patient volume.

Teaching Opportunities:
  • Engage with residents in Family Practice and Internal Medicine residency programs, offering mentorship and clinical education.

Qualifications:
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
