Exciting PRN/Moonlighting Pediatrician Opportunity at Mercy Health Tiffin Hospital

Mercy Health Tiffin Hospital is seeking a dedicated pediatrician for PRN or moonlighting opportunities, with a focus on delivering exceptional care to newborns and pediatric patients. This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic hospital setting, providing flexibility and contributing to both outpatient and inpatient care.
  • Location: Within the hospital
  • Shifts: 24-hour shifts from 8 a.m. to 8 a.m.
  • Onsite Requirements: Arrive by 8:00 a.m.; available within 30 minutes throughout the shift
  • Tasks: Rounding on patients, attending high-risk C-sections, performing circumcisions, and managing newborn care (35 weeks gestation and older)
  • Certifications: NRP and BLS required; must be able to perform circumcisions
  • Nursing Model: 3 moms/babies per RN; 1-2 laboring patients per RN

Requirements:
  • Board Certification: Preferred, board-eligible within five years considered.
  • License: Ohio State License required.
  • Experience: Newborn care experience required. X-ray interpretation and UVC/UAC experience preferred.
