Mercy Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join our Gastroenterology team for PRN opportunities. This role will provide essential coverage across multiple locations in Toledo and Oregon, including St. Vincent, St. Charles, and Perrysburg hospitals.
Position Highlights:
- Shifts: 7 AM - 7 PM
- Coverage: Up to 12 weeks of vacation coverage throughout the year
- Flexibility: Preference for candidates able to work up to 7 consecutive shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Hospital consults, rounds, and patient discharges
- Collaborating with the surgery department for endoscopy arrangements
- Reviewing patient lists, labs, and imaging; prioritizing care based on severity and procedural needs
- Rounding with physicians as necessary and following up on patient outcomes
